Susi Ganeshan, who earlier assisted Mani Ratnam and directed films like ‘Five Star’(Tamil), Manikyam 420 (Dubbed in Telugu) is coming up with an interesting film ‘Mallanna’ (Kandasamy in Tamil). Vikram, Shriya are playing the lead roles. This film has been in news for various issues on some incidents and some accidents. Susi Ganeshan also got injured during the shooting. These all are delaying its release.

This film is being canned on a large scale. The film started with a big sensation as an invitation card itself was Rs 25,000/- with an LCD and a Trailer in it. This is probably the first Indian film where in a trailer is released even before the film started. Vikram is playing different roles in the film including a lady getup.

This film is all about the difference in the economy levels in the society. This pic depicts the story line of the film.

It has music by Devi Sri Prasad. “Excuse Me” song has already become a raze.
