Index - Itz All About ‘Dil Raju’
– He bought a four floor apartment complex in Salivahana Nagar, Yellareddy guda - Srinagar colony area. He is using two floors for two films under production and two floors for two films in pre-production. His earlier office used to be in Indira Nagar - Kamalapuri Colony area.
– Love marriage:
Raju’s is a love marriage. Raju, Anitha met each other at his cousin’s marriage. In just one month love blossomed between them. It was Anitha who put marriage proposal and with in a few months they got the nod from the elders. They got married in 1991.
Interestingly his directors Bommarillu Bhaskar, Vamsi Paidypally (Munna) , Venu (Asst Director) also ended in love marriages after getting their parent’s consent. All these three are inter caste marriages. It is heard that Raju gave good moral support for these guys in making their love successful.
Bommarillu Bhaskar found his Hasini through ‘Bommarillu’ film only. It was in this film’s shooting that he got introduced to Sri Vidya who was a friend of his friends in Vizag.
– Tirupathi Sentiment:
Raju has great belief in Lord Venkateswara. He is always aware that it is Lord’s grace altogether. He is much particular in visiting Tirumala with this crew after a film’s completion and tonsures for the Lord.
– He made a special appearance in ‘Bommarillu’. He is in the scene where Genelia cuts the ‘ayya baboi driver ledu’ joke !!! He is the person sitting in the front row (left side) of the bus, humming a song…!!!
– It is usually discussed in film nagar that their batch has great conviction in their productions. Raju, Sirish, Laxman make it a point to attend the entire shooting process.
–
Raju is very emotional. He could not control his tears upon seeing the reaction of the audience after the release show of his maiden venture ‘DIL’. He hugged his family members and wept on feeling a splendid success. He broke into tears after receiving the first call on the release day of Bommarillu from the Producer Chandra Pratap Reddy (’Yogi’). He also became heavily emotional in the audio function of Bommarillu on seeing its overwhelming response.
– ‘Jagadam’, ‘Ashok’, ‘Annavaram’ are some of his recent films as distributor which did not fair well.
– His attire is decent and adds to his charishma.
–
Raju did his studies in Telugu Medium. He is uncomfortable with English. It is his one of his goals to gain grip in it and speak fluently.
–
He is a good orator. One thing he never misses is his extreme confidence on his ventures. He is very frank in opining his views.
–
Usually in a partnership business jealousy factor creeps in on getting success. But Sirish - Laxman stand as true definition for friendship and gave extra ordinary support to Raju in all his endeavors. That’s why he dedicates the full credit of his success to his buddies.
–
His suggestion to young aspirants:

“Hundred people try to enter film industry. Three of them get chances. One emerges successful. Don’t get mesmerised by this one fellow alone. Look at 99 people. Studies are important. Alternative profession is necessary. After taking due care only turn to this side. If you turn successful its good if not then you’ll be losing nothing.”
–
Raju’s is still a joint family. Though they stay separately decisions are taken by all. He surely attends ‘Dussera’, which is a special festival in his Village. He is deeply linked to his village. As a social concern, he started ‘Ma Palle Charitable Trust’ . He decided to spend 10% of his income for this trust.
