My encounters with Dil Raju

Encounter - 1:

I met DIL Raju, Bhaskar(director of Bommarillu),Vamsi Paidypalli (director of Munna) in Munna shooting in necklace road station. They were canning the song, “kadhulu kadhulu pada” at night around 8PM. There was a big crowd who came to watch shooting. I was thrilled to find Dil Raju along with his close friends SIRISH and LAXMAN. They were all sitting near the camera. I observed them from close quarters. Their team is terrific !!! I heard before that they put all their efforts in films and have extreme patience in getting things out. I could observe that. Someone said that Raju was too tired as they were in promotion programmes of Bommarillu. I observed a guy going towards Raju and on not finding a paper he took ten rupees note and asked Raju to give autograph on it. Raju reacted immediately said that he would not sign on money. This showed how much respect he has towards money. As the pallavi of the song “kadhulu kadhulu pada”, got repeated I could not wait more and went directly to Raju and spoke to him. This is how our conversation went..

AV: Hi sir, autograph..please..
(he turned towards me and changed his facial expressions that he could not sign as he was too tired.)
AV: nenu meeku pedda fan nandi. meeru distributor gaa unnapputi nunchi mee gurinchi telusukuntunnaanu. monna jarigina BOMMARILLU triple platinum function choostoo roju nenu yedchestunnaanu..
(He gained interest in me and laughed at my words.)
Raju: yenduku ?
AV: meeru, mee team naaku pedda inspiration andi..
Raju: Oh alaagaa ?
AV: nenu already oka production house lo scripts lo work chestunnaa .naa daggaraa konni manchi scripts, chaala ideas unnaaayi..
Raju: scripts..aa (he agained frowned) already next 2 years varaku..
mem cheyyaalsina projects plaan ayipoyaayi, nenu ippudu scripts vine stage lo kooodaa lenu.
(As I expected such reply, I didn’t feel for his reply and cud understand his situation. Then we shared some views on other things. After that I asked him again for autograph.
Now he laughed and signed it.)
AV: Sirish, Laxman gaarivi koodaa kaavaaali
(He was surprised..as how do I know them..he was thrilled and told his friends that this guy is asking for their autographs too…he was impressed and told them to give but those guys were so humble and shy and told me that their autographs are unnecessary. Upon requesting couple more times also they didn’t give. By then the shot was getting ready and I had to leave. I said bye to Raju and he wished me all the best. This is one of my memorable moments, as I admire him a lot. On seeing him I forgot to mention many things like my music works and my interest in direction field and chances of getting in as an assistant director I was just mesmerized to see their team in live action !!!)
