Hmm an interesting idea popped long back. Once, I went to a near by medical store and asked for Crocin tablet. He took 1 Rupee for a tablet and charged Rs 5/- for 5 tablets. I never bothered to check the MRP of crocin as each tablet costs just a rupee. But I could observe that other customers who were taking many expensive tablets too never bothered to check the MRP/cost of tablets.

The Medical stores guys too cleverly cut the tablets leaf in such a way that no where MRP details are visible. After a while I started thiking on this aspect and arrived at a point that how would it be if a website is availabe where in if we could search for a tablet and find the MRP.

This might be very much useful if the tablet costs are high. Before going to the medical shop we can check the list and the amount required. If some medical store guys try to tamper the cost we can have a valid argument.

The only problem that I see in this is understanding a Doctor’s handwriting is a bit difficult. So people might find it difficult to trace out the medicine names. Medical store keepers have this advantage of deciphering their doctor’s prescription.

For this, we can request the Doctor to write them down in a readable format by giving the details of our website. Who knows even doctors might support such a site.

All the site owners need is a good command in medical field and regular updations regarding medications.

This sounds like an innovative idea with a social cause and also providing valid business market.

What more do you expect in a business ?
