Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is the premier Institute set up by the Banking Industry to handle its ever increasing requirement of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.  IBPS has been engaged in carrying out research based selection activities by designing relevant tools and techniques for over two decades.  It employs the best talent pool in the country in the area of Psychometry/Psychological and Educational Measurement.  The Institute is in the process of redefining its roles by broadening its activities deeper into the areas of Talent Assessment and Talent Management for meeting the requirement of the emerging fields in the Financial sector and enterprenuer sectors.  It offers a challenging and motivating work environment for the trained professionals in the areas of Psychometry/Psychological & Educational Measurement and Evaluation / Industrial Psychology / Organizational Behaviour / Personnel Management/HR.  It invites applications for the post of Faculty Trainee in the pay scale of Rs.6500-200-10500/- (Rs.26,716/- total emoluments at the minimum of the scale on revision).

In addition, other benefits such as Contributory PF, Gratuity, LTC, Medical Reimbursement and hospitalization up to a certain limit, Consultancy, etc. as admissible. Higher start may be considered for deserving candidates. 

Educational Qualifications:  Faculty Trainee

Post Graduation in Psychology/Education or Management with minimum 55% marks and preferably one year’s experience in the academic area.

The job requires developments of objective type selection tests designed to assess cognitive ability and personality domains and research in the area of Human Resource Management/Education/Psychology.

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in developing objective type, psychological and educational tests and other selection tools and with knowledge of computer.

I T PROFESSIONALS/ Positions

IBPS IT Systems comprises of state of the art HP 9000 Servers, High Speed OMR Scanners imported from NCS, USA, Data Centre Servers / Database / E-mail Servers, etc.  IT Department serves all sorts of information processing for the organization to cater to the business needs for recruitment, placement, promotion of employees of customers and admission to Management Institutes, besides the relevant researches.  The process includes receipt of on-line application, conducting on-line examinations and also with OMR based procedure.  To strengthen these process and future expansion IBPS needs following functionaries:

Total emoluments per month

1. System Administrator           Rs.35,000/- (consolidated)

2. Assistant Manager/Programmer (On-line Applications)   Rs.25,000/- (consolidated)

3. Assistant Manager/Programmer (EDP)         Rs.25,000/- (consolidated)

Other Benefits:

The positions are initially on contract for 2 years and renewable based on performance.
