Drama naidu’s best interview. It was some years back but throws light on the family values he upholds, apart from his great professional achievements.

Balaji, there are too many comments on the forum now to be displayed at one go. so dont get confused. At a time, few comments are showing and rest can be viewed clicking on comments section.

Amala meets Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar. why do these become news items? I am sure a lot of people keep calling on ministers for various noble activities. even maneka gandhi is not so much in news.

Amala at the age of 16 at Kalakshetra, a rare video.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpSI9qA87CU

she has taken up so many ‘noble’ causes that her infamous past is not remembered now. Those who know, know it..she is now like the most kind-hearted person every in hyderabad!

  • anonymous says:

    Amala’s latest interview:

She is promoting communal harmony and making the the world a better place. Now she is into communal harmony also !

  • Joanna says:

Amala behaves like mother theresa of hyderabad….ignore her…

  • nimmy says:

She is looking to get a “padma” award, as ANR and Tabu have got it. Who will believe her when they know she snatched a much married man and re-married him. What about the compassionate feeling she must have had for the first wife.. I can’t stand her anymore.. It seems she called Hindu and asked them to write about her, then directed her staff to say good things abt her.. all the people singing her praises are her employees.. living off the animal shelter..

  • Sneha says:

Read about Amala’s insecurity for her son!

An old article …again its wrongly mentioned that Nag and Amala met during ‘Shiva’.. No mention of Chait here at all, as if he doesnt exist!

  • Sneha says:

Good to hear about the positive reports on chai’s 100% love…congrats..hope to watch it soon.

  • rinky says:

Sneha – that article is spot on about Amala’s insecurity. I read elsewhere where Nag himself said that he met Sachin (I am sure he was pressured by Madam Amala) to go over Akhil’s plans in cricket, that Sachin gave Akhil a bat; why does Akhil need all this recommendation after going and doing his intermediate college years in a cricket school in Australia?. That school is geared only towards Cricket.. How many in our Indian Cricket Team had the previlige of going away to a boarding Cricket training college?. I bet you no one. This all shows how selfish Amala is – wants to get the best for her son no matter what. All the talk about simplicity and social justice, while behind the scenes, she seems to push Nag always about “her” son’s future.

Glad to see Chai’s movie doing well. He had a good interview in the Hindu. Tells that is not a very social person – so does not have a twitter, and he likes his movies to speak about his work. The effect of a broken marraige do remain on children, and Amala so selfishly broke Chai’s parents up for her own future.

    Good luck Chai..

  • anonymous says:

Chai should always live with his dad, his dad’s home is his rightful place. he already lived away from his dad for 18 years. all the best chai, whatever decision you take.

  • sneha says:

Guys, read in cinehour that amala is desperate to have a baby daughter now as akhil is all grown up! i was amused to read that since her step-son is old enough to get married in few years now. how crazy these actresses are. so insecure..have everything, still want more and more. she is working for widows and girl child, must be a ploy to get public support. she said she misses having a daughter in the house as akhil is grown-up.

  • anonymous says:

According to Nagarjuna , Tamanna acted better than Chait in 100% love. I doubt he said that or media twisted his words. During YMC also, he said Samatha is better than Chai! Why is being so modest about his son? this will damange Chai’s reputation as actor. Both Chai and Tamanna did well. i dont believe he said that…

Brilliant acting by chaitu in 100% love.
i never seen a film backgrd guy act so good in recent times.
    simply superb.

  • sneha says:

Heared the news that tabu might be starring opposite nag in his movie on shirdi sai baba.that will be great..

I have heared that shirdi sai baba did have presence of a motherly person in his life. tabu could be playing that, not sure.

  • chandu says:

sai baba devotees angry on nag.

    ://hinducinema.com/telugu-cinema/telugu-movie-news/characterless-nagarjuna-has-no-right-to-act-in-and-as-shirdi-sai.html

  • anyonymous says:

Nag only trying to play a character in movie, he doesnt preach people in real life.

His wife preaches in real life though she was also a characterless woman. She was involved with so many married men- Kamal, Rajnikanth, Nagarjuna.

Now she acts simple, innocent, caring for widows and what not. Just google her photos, you will find her in cheap photos wearing swimsuit with Satyaraj, Rajnikant etc…now she acts and dresses like sati savitri.

  • sri says:

People critising too much amala.Be good.
Don’t thru bad light on someone.
anything has limit some people here crossing limits.
    Thats no good.

  • anonymous says:

If our own sister /daughter faces a situation where someone flirts with her husband, we will call that woman bad. But Nayantara, Amala all celebrities, so people say ok its their life.

  • sneha says:

Just now saw a still from chai’s third movie opposite Kajal Aggarwal in nag’s official website…Chai will rock in this movie too :) he is experimenting alot and taking challenges to show variety in his roles and acting. ANR and Annapurana are lucky grand-parents…they saw their youngest son’s kid growing up and become so successful. touchwood..late NTR rama rao has not been so lucky, sadly. i feel this coz i heared Chai’s grand-ma missed him alot when he left for madras as a kid.

Hope to see Nag with tabu in Shirdi Sai baba.

  • anonymous says:

Shirdi sai devotees say No to Nagarjuna..

    http://www.greatandhra.com/viewnews.php?id=29011&cat=1&scat=4

Devotees and fans are always sentimental, think from the heart, but real life is different. For an actor its a role, challenge to play such a great godmen like sai shirdi.

  • sneha says:

I wonder what will be amala’s reaction to the devotee’s anger..for her divorce is a normal part of life. luckily Nag’s wife is a rich, beautiful, and well-educated woman. Feel sorry for Prabhu’s wife Ramlath. He has gone for the more beautiful, successful Nayanthara. I wonder why men get married without being clear about what they want! Ramlath should join social work or politics and help other women in such a situation, atleast she has money, many women dont even have that.

Also women should be independent and strong. Society these days are full of Amalas, Sridevis and Nayantharas who dont mind setting up home by taking away someone else’s husband and father. they ’settle down’ by unsettling others!

  • rinky says:

    Very well said Sneha..
People like Amala really “settle down” by unsettling others.. Although that does not have to be the case.. there are plenty of bachelors to choose from for these women, but in Amala’s case, she wanted the best of the best – educated, rich, family name etc.. see how quickly she changed her name to “Amala Akkineni”. Atleast in the case of Sridevi, she does not preach. Amala truly has no conscience – preaches day in and day out, trying to hide her characterless, sleezy past.. It also is so frustrating to read all the “amala garu” references on nagfans website. She certainly fools a lot of people who don’t know her past..

  • sneha says:

Thats becoz Lakshmi never spoke out about her break-up with Nag in public whereas immediately after marrying Nag, Amala started blue cross and other social service initiatives. Because of this many even think that its Nag who has link-ups with heroines whereas Amala is ’simple’ and ‘too good’. Most heroines like Ramya, Khusboo, Roja , Ooha etc have married directors or actors who are well-to-do but not so rich also. Nag was the best of the best.

When she married Nag, a national film magazine ‘Stardust’ did a feature on them with their wedding snaps etc…she gave out all personal details like how she and Nag would talk romantic stuff on phone and the telephone operators would giggle hearing it! Even then it was only Nag who spoke about Chai (around 5 years of age that time) .Amala said that after marrying Nag, she has got a huge family and the house is filled with relatives during occassions like birthdays and anniversaries! She didnt at all mention about ANR opposing her marriage to Nag!

Before Nag, she wanted to marry Rajnikanth. She was even called ‘Anni’ by the tamil crowds that time so serious was their affair! Thank god Bunny and Jr NTR have married pretty girls now i just hope our media focuses a bit on these new brides. I am tired of seeing Amala everywhere! haha

  • sneha says:

Nag confesses tabu is his favourite ‘Mahalakshmi’.

    http://www.gulte.com/entertainment.php?telugu-cinema-news=nagarjuna-says-srmahalaxmi-is-better&page=movie_update_full&link=8605

Nag is very honest, that is his strength. his charm lies in his honesty and friendly approach…Thats why he is loved by so many people. He speaks honestly most of the time, and if something is too private(his divorce episode), he doesnt speak about it at all. Amala should learn some honesty from him. its ok not to be perfect all the time but admit it.

  • nimmy says:

Good interview with Nag – Chaitu is also so adoring and down to earth in the interview.. Amala never comes across as real like Nag and Chaitu. She is always very artificial, and very very preachy if she opens her mouth.. Wonder where she is with all the news about the dogs going wild in AP..
A tamil friend confirmed that she nearly got Rajnikanth to divorse his wife and marry her, but good friends of Rajni talked him out of it..
Her past haunts her, that is why she had to call her malayalam lover (who said that he and Amala planned to marry) and apologize before going to a trip to Tirupathi after all these years being married to Nag.. I read in another interview that she shaved her head completely in Tirupathi also..
We never knew she had an affair with the Malayali hero, so god knows how many more she had sleazy relationships with..
she is like a “kalupu mokka” – a horrible poisonous weed that entered the Akkineni family..

  • sneha says:

Both Amala and her son Akhil love to be in the limelight and feel important. Akhil has a fan page already in facebook created by nagfans even before he actually debuted. He is going to play in CCL match and the news is all over the place. When Akhil appeared in a MAA tv sankranti program two years ago, he could barely speak telegu. to be a telegu hero, he first needs to speak the language and then go to foreign acting schools!

Amala acts as if the filmworld was never meant for her and that she is above it! She has this superior look on her face all the time. She has an issue with gossip mills, violence in movies etc.. It was the filmworld that gave her all the name, fame, money and ofcourse Nagarjuna. She could have married a non-filmi guy in that case and moved far away like for example, Laya who settled abroad with her doctor husband.

It was funny to read some municipality officials saying that they are afraid to kill the wild dogs for fear of protests from animal rights activists. Though animal love is gud, in a poor country like ours, we should know where to draw the line.

  • anonymous says:

Glamorous Amala in the 80’s with tamil heroes….in telegu did 5-6 movies only. Shiva was best….no exposing nothing.

Chaitu’s interview about his new movie,100% Love.Really happy the movie is doing extremely well and he is getting more confident with his movies.Wish him all the very best.He truly deserves it.
Anyways just saw a few comments about his Chennai influence.I lived in Chennai for a good 6 years and I can say that his tamil in the interview is impeccable. He could easily pass off as a tamil boy.Its good he knows both languages well.Hopefully he will attain success both in tamil and telegu industry.

  • anonymous says:

Amala in swimsuit, what movie is that with Rajnikanth.? anglo indian in south movies . she didnt have inhibitions..

  • sneha says:

I am surprised to see the ‘exposing’ pictures of Amala. She is talking about rabies infection these days. Frankly, rabies virus causes terrible deaths when a human being is bitten by a rabies infected dog.It has already caused such deaths in AP last few days. Her focus seems to be death to the dog not to the human being. In my opinion such dogs should simply be removed from the streets.

    http://www.hindu.com/2011/05/28/stories/2011052864790400.htm

We need wealthy people to work on areas like sanitation facilities to the poor, education , medical facilities etc Animal welfare however earnest looks futile in a country where so many people live on the streets.

I think this page should be renamed ‘Nagarjuna’s wives’! haha

  • sneha says:

Good news is Chai got best actor nomination for Filmfare award….keep it up chai. Will be good to see him in tamil movies.A mani ratnam movie with Chai would be great.

Good to see Chai in the news…was tired of seeing his hypocritical step-mother all these years. Everything has a limit, the way she was grabbing the limelight all these years was too much. Wonder how many lovey dovey photos will be posted this year on Nag- Amala wedding anniversary. Both should behave mature and keep away from unnecessary display of their private lives. Its time for the children to come forward now.

  • sneha says:

What is this news about Anushka Shetty and Naga Chaitanya engagement? I am not a Anushka fan, but if its true, all the best to them. She is a top heroine and marrying a bachelor (if its true). She is also close to the akkineni family. Not bad..

    http://www.behindwoods.com/tamil-movie-news-1/jun-11-03/anushka-naga-chaitanya-15-06-11.html

  • rinky says:

Amala and her exposing pictures.. Whoever compiled them did a good job.. she acts as if everything from the film world is impure – her house is a “temple”. She was from the sleazy world, and had no inhibitions wearing over exposing swim wear ( in those conservative years). I hope she stops being in the limelight. She is annoying, disgusting, and not a role-model. When it was her time, she did everything sleazy to land as a wife of a top hero, no matter if he was married or not. Now that she got married, she acts pious. Lakshmi Ramanaidu ( daggubati) deserves all the credit – inspite of her house being broke into by Amala, she bought Chaitu up so well, seemingly with no grudge towards Amala.
He is so polite, that he politely left to his own apartment without naming Amala. Amala can have all the house and the limelight to herself and her son. She never cared about fellow humans, first only about herself, and then animals..

  • Lina says:

It has been confirmed by Anushka that the rumour is not true and simply baseless.Besides, she said she is way too old for Chaithu. He is not even 25 yet and she is 30 I think. She also confirmed that she is in love with someone else.I wonder why such stupid rumours come about.

  • Rani says:

I just came across this website and I must say im shocked with all this news about Amala.Im a Tamilian so Amala was a big name in Kollywood in the 80’s.She was lthe top actress at the time and all men idolised her and women envied her.Im not from the 80’s but I liked her in all her Tamil movies. But I had no idea what happened 2 her after she quit movies.Only recently when I watched the Tamil version of YMC my friend to me that Chaitu is Amala’s son.and i was happy for her that she got such a good looking son.bt only after seeing this wbsite I know what type of person Amala is.Not sure whether 100% everything is true but some of the info about her affair with rajinikanth is shocking. In chennai Rajini is worshipped and Im prtty shocked this affair was pushed behind the limelight.and feeling quite bad for Chaitu as well.2 mother and 2 father is certainly not our indian culture.Anyways Im just really glad 2 come across this website to know Amala’s real character..

  • sneha says:

Amala once spoke sharply about Rajnikant in an interview (Savvy 1994) saying ‘Some people one likes to talk about, and some one doesnt, Rajnikanth belongs to the latter’. That time I thought maybe she had a bad working experience with him. Later, through different sources i heared she was having an affair with him, but later he changed his mind and decided not to leave his wife. That made her angry!

If you google the net , you will come across articles on their affair. I am also not from the 80’s , so dont have much idea about her stardom. I know her since ‘Shiva’, we were in school then. But I have read a lot of her interviews, she is a master hypocrite and liar.

Now she is blaming pet owners for the spread of rabies! Its the stray dogs that are going mad…she always takes a one sided approach to any matter. Like she said (Savvy Interview 1994) Nag was having ‘bad marriage’ with his wife. As a fellow woman she showed no sympathy towards the wife at all. If she was a simple and nice woman, she would ve atleast admitted that maybe Nag too let down his wife in some ways. But she never did that. Also, Nag has a big close knit family who would never like to see their son suffer if he was in such a bad marriage. (I hear that akkineni family wants Sumanth to marry again.) But ANR didnt attend Nag’s second marriage, so that explains it all.

I agree with rinky, she is no way a role model. Most foreigners love wildlife and animals, she is a half-Irish, so has interest in these areas. I see no other quality in her. I like to read about other 80’s stars like Gautami, Khusboo, Suhasini, Nadiya, Jayapradha , Tabu etc who are not so artificial and dull.

  • anonymous says:

Its true that Amala has never shown any warmth or motherly love towards Chai in public. Kamal hassan once said he thought a lot on how his daughters would accept Gautami and only then went ahead with the relationship.

Got this link by chance…dont know how much of it is true.It may be all gossip. But one thing is true, she flirted with married man, others are doing the same with her husband! In her heart, she will know that for sure.

    http://telugumovienews.polyvector.com/naga-chaitanya-to-take-revenge-on-amala-615.html

Fact is Chai today is doing good in his career. thats important. also its important that he and Akhil have good terms. I think people shouldnt start unnecessary feeling competition between them. Amala is not so important becoz very few people love their step-moms.

  • sneha says:

Its common knowledge that heroines (though not all) move around friendly with heroes, producers, and directors to come up. Anushka is a career-minded and smart actress. She is doing well too. Amala was also like that earlier, hence she should nt say things like her house is temple etc. Then it sounds foolish and idiotic.

  • Naveen says:

Thats why smart Naga chaitanya introduced smart Anuska to Nag to take revenge on his parents divorce problem i.e Amala.

  • sneha says:

According to my sources, Nag’s first wife had to leave becoz he was unfaithful to her.

Now Chai is so much in news, why would Amala stay behind? so here is her latest interview!! SHe left movies 20 years back, now doing social service, whats the need to be sooo much in the media?? we have heared again and again about her life. IS there anything left to know?

    http://nagfans.com/forum/showthread.php/40749-Gorantha-Deepam-Amala-Akkineni-a-video?p=933587#post933587

Its a known fact that Nag proposed her in USA and she used to vacation with him without marriage. yet she says that his proposal was a surprise to her!! she said she was ‘friends’ with Nag for a long time. we all know what ‘friendship’ means between heroes and heroines. Thats means she is a woman who will sleep with a guy without marriage commitment???

Here she talks about how she wanted to start a family with Nag, how as a mom she wanted to stay at home for her kid etc. what about Chai? his dad was not with him and he had a working mom. She is acting as if she married a bachelor!

Amala may be all over the media, but she is leading the life of a doormat with an unfaithful husband today. Kudos to Lakshmi for raising Chai so well. SHe gave him priority the way a mom should and resettled in a way that was not hard for him to accept.( her current husband also has a son and daughterinlaw of his own). she could ve picked up a younger guy to remarry and start a new family. she didnt do that.

Shame on Nag and Amala for being so ruthless, selfish, and insensitive.

  • anonymous says:

Life is unfair sometimes. the observations on Amala akkineni are correct. She wanted to make her life good, thats all she was bothered about. From TVS 50 scooter days to now as wife of Nagarjuna, is abig leap. Nag was an immature youth I feel who married, had a child early but couldnt take care of them. In the same family, actor Venkatesh has such a successful family life. Feel sorry for Lakshmi.

Best wishes to Chai. May his future be very very good.

  • anonymous says:

Life is unfair sometimes. Lakshmi’s brother Venkatesh has such a successful career and family life. Feel sorry for his sister. The observations on Amala are correct. Fom riding a TVS scooter to now being Nagarjuna’s wife is a big leap in lifestyle. Nag was certainly immature. married, had a child and then just blew everything up. Atleast remarry a woman who can accept your child. I observed Amala has nt taken Chai’s name even once in the above interview. She is talking of telegu culture, hello, our culture is very traditional and conservative. Does she know that??

  • rinky says:

It is amazing to watch Amala’s MAA video posted on nagfans.. not a single mention of Chai.. She says very clearly, when she meets people they ask her how her father-in-law is doing, how nag is doing, and how sisindri is doing – so in her mind, that is all the family circle, no room for Chai..

She is shameless.. at the end of the video, she says she hurt other people sometimes, and sorry for that.. But if you notice, there is no guilt at all in her face or voice.. she is like, whatever, I don’t care, I got what I want..

Nag fell for all her crap about feeling for the earth, environment etc. etc.. where she clearly did not feel bad ditching the malayali hero who was about to marry her, and breaking a much married Nagarjuna..

  • leshni says:

This Amala is such an attention seeker.I dont get her.How many movies did she do in Telugu? She only got famous after marrying Nagarjuna so why cant she just keep quiet and be a housewife? if she wants to do charity stuff you can do it outside the media glare. Why making it such a fanfare when doing a charity? Its all publicity.Compare Amala and Jyothika for example.Jyothika is way more famous and a household name. When she got married to Surya, she chose to focus on her family instead and we rarely hear about her in the media except for her family functions etc.She is also involved in Surya’s education trust but she is doing it behind the doors unlike Amala.Jyothika too is from Mumbai but even surya’s parents have said she is like a typical south indian daugher in law.Why cant Amala be like her?I guess good people will have a good life.Jo came to south, acted with all top heroes, maintained a good name(she did not do anything vulgar unlike Amala and her bathing suit scenes in tamil),she married Surya who is from a highly respected actor family and now is a housemaker.Amala now is deparately trying to seek attention. This is a difference of marrying an already married man and a single one..By the way we hear her say anything about Chai’s movie? Any praises?? none.Im jst appalled at her..

  • srini says:

Stop talking about other people life man.So much discussion on this subject.
I know real truth.Every hero in film world is unfaithful to their wife.
Nag First wife is adamant those days she left to her parents house.Ramanaidu and his wife tried to convince her but nothing worked.
Even ANR and ANR wife tried at NAG end.
NAG first wife has ego problems those days as she is young those days.
Being a film hero no wife at home leads to affair with AMALA.

Here people talking venkatesh good like that their wife’s come from middle class families so they adjusted.

Simply say two rich people marry ego clashed comes. thats
    all.
    Here nothing to blame AMALA.
everyone has so many proposals before marriage. One pick better one.
    She did same.
    Past is past leave it.

When Nag and his first wife were married and living together, Amala had met his wife and even interacted with her. Nag and she came together first for Kirai dada, and since she moved friendly with the families, did Drama naidu’s (Lakshmi’s dad’s)’Chinna babu’ also opposite Nag. That time Lakshmi was Nag’s wife. Nag and his first wife studied in US together and Nag’s initial plan was to start business in India. But he got into movies, followed by link-ups with heroines etc. Amala was also one of them.

Nag’s first wife is known as a good lady in chennai, and though she was young that time, brought up chai very well alone.Chai got good relationship with Nag from young age.

Almost all heroes are unfaithful to their wives, thats true. But very few actually left their wives after having kid. (pawan kalyan, sumanth no kids with first wives).

Amala loves animals from childhood but doesnt have any sense of family values. Who would chose a guy whose wife is upset with him becoz of unfaithfulness that too when you know the wife? she is a very selfish and sly person as long as getting what she wants, hell with others. thats why wanted to marry the already married tamil superstar also. she never used to mention Chai even when Chai was a small kid. AP media gives her too much importance.

By the way, it was very nice to know the comment on Jyotika.

Poor kid Chai, feel bad for him. What is his fault in all this? 2 mom 2 dad situation. Why cant Amala think of him as part of family? she will only talk about Nag and Akhil, blue cross. If Chai’s mom was in hyderabad, would be so good. He must be missing his mom. hope Nag taking good care of him. Another 5 years, Chai will be number one for sure.

Saw launch photos of akkineni film institute. Akhil looks so ordinary, neither handsome nor cute. At 18 yrs, Chai looked quite nice. Still so much hype over Akhil joining movies etc. He should stick to cricket!

Amala speaks on Chaitu and Akhil.in the below article..she says Chaitu is very matured for his age and doesnt make too many friends. hope she is aware about the effects of a broken home on a child. Chaitu had to understand many things at a very young age. Akhil grew up with his mom and dad under same roof with relatives and cousins around. Chaitu grew up alone with his mom. He had to understand at the age of 5 yrs that his dad is married somewhere else and living with his family in another city. This is not easy on any child.

Good point Sneha. As Amala does not seem to have any feelings for fellow human beings other than herself and her son, she expects everyone to be the same I guess. She was the one who broke into a very young chaitu’s family, broke it apart, and stole a family from Chaitu. She expects him to be the same as her pampered son, who was bought up under one family roof by his home-wrecking mom?. She is so incensitive in her remarks. Why is she even comparing Chaitu and her son? She has no feelings and sensitivity whatsoever.

Publicity hungry Amala at Monsoon Regatta Fun Race. She is bonding with kids, women etc with a clear aim of becoming a politician in the future. She is not content being a wife and daughter-in-law of a famous and respected household. She wants name, fame of her own…Which married ex-actress who has not done a movie in 20 years is so much in news? someone in this forum rightly called amala a ‘attention seeker’.

    http://www.ragalahari.com/localevents/2681/amala-with-govt-school-students-at-monsoon-regatta-fun-race.aspx

however all people in the state are not happy with her animal rights activism.

Read that some years back when a small girl was badly attacked by a wild dog and people caught the dog, amala went to court saying the dog was mistreated! this is crazy..

  • anyonymous says:

Chai looks promising in ‘Dhadha’, all the best to him…a hattrick will be great.

  • rinky says:

Could not help but notice how Akhil strategically positioned himself in the seat next to Chai. In other shows, he does not bother to sit next to Chai. He is sure media Savvy, as he knows the cameras will be focused on Chai. Wonder whom he got that intelligence from..? When Chai was Akhil’s age, the media did not know he existed, as Amala would only talk about Akhil.

  • srinivas says:

You ladies r too hatred with amala.
Whats wrong if akhil sits next to his brother.
Ofcourse he will become hero in future.
may be another four/five years time.

  • sneha says:

I read in one website today that Akhil stole the show from Chai at Dhada audio function! Chai was good in the show…but Akhil thru twitter, facebook creating a lot of hype around himself…

Akhil is like Amala, and Chai is like his mom…chai’s mom despite being rama naidu’ daughter is so low profile that people thought she is in USA, when actually she is in Chennai! Amala keeps talking about how she did 50 films in seven years and how she was from Kalashetra etc..If you see the careers of other heroines like Sridevi, Jaya Pradha, Bhanupriya, Shobhana, Radha etc they have done over 100 movies and dance really really well…that way what Amala has done in her career is not much, but through media she is always in news!

I hope and pray for Chai’s movies, and also hope that the brothers dont compete with each other..

  • sneha says:

Hey came across this Amala-Nag Akhil pic while browsing some sites. This pic is actually from the Amala’s Savvy cover interview that she gave years back…hence it caught my eye. Akhil was just 3 months old., this was even before ‘Sisindri’ The pic was published again during Akhil’s birthday this year…

Amala indirectly hints Akhil is better than Naga Chaitanya! Where did she give this interview? did she really mean it that way? chai is very good in behaviour and conduct.

    Chai’s step-father..
    http://www.hindu.com/rp/2009/03/20/stories/2009032050110400.htm

Chai’s families lead such different lives, his dad’s side leads celebrity life in public eye in andhra pradesh in home state. His step-father and mother lead a corporate/business life in tamil nadu, step-dad is tamilian. He adjusts well to both lives. Thank god he chose movies or else we would never have seen him. haha

  • anonymous says:

Thanks for all the information. This site is very good and genuine.

Its clear that men move on easily, Nag married Amala, had a new child and home soon after divorce. Amala looked so happy withNag and Akhil in the photos. But wonder what his ex-wife went thru that time. SHe too had a small child that time. Like Amala, gorgeous Nayathara is also quitting films to wed Prabhu Deva. In the long run how much happiness it will bring her, god knows.

  • sneha says:

Chai’s latest interview where he admits that his telegu is not upto the mark coz he was born and brought up in chennai. I really like his honesty and simplicity. I think he is very keen on doing tamil movies or bilingual, means something like Gaganam, both tamil and telegu.

  • sneha says:

Did Amala hint that Akhil is better than Chai? Akhil is happy-go lucky boy becoz he got everything in life from early age. He lives with his mom and dad as a family. That does make a difference. see the family pics with him and his mom and dad. Sisindri was made for him when he was just 1 year old. Chai is from a broken home. Thats why he is reserved and has a lot of fire in him to do well in life..thats a good thing. His mom is never by his side in any function, tom when Akhil joins movies, Amala will be there by his side for sure in all important occassions. So Chai has become more independent also.

These celebrities have made marrying and remarrying a common thing. Nag, Prabhu deva, Prakash Raj, Mahesh Bhupathi list is endless…

I remember 6-7 years back a friend of mine was going thru a rough patch in his married life. I was in college then but i told him repeatedly that he should patch up with his wife if not alteast dont remarry immeditely as his son was very small. All his relatives were asking him to remarry, i was the only one who gave him this advice. Later, i got to know he actually remarried his exwife again and now they are living happily…he keeps thanking me for making him see sense …

  • sneha says:

Chai’s latest interview, he handles all questions well, especially Akhil being competition to him. I think Chai has become more reserved and private now than he was two years back when he joined movies. He sounds very serious these days.

    http://www.deccanchronicle.com/channels/showbiz/tv-guide/i-am-zero-socialising-594

Also, good to hear that Akhil going abroad for studies. All these years Amala always had it her way-got her boyfriend divorced and remarried, ensured that only she and her son is spoken of and known to the public by deliberating not mentioning Chai anywhere. She doesnt know how selfish she sounded when she said ‘even though Nag is so busy he takes two weekends off to go meet his son’. This when she herself was posing for lovey dovey family pics with her baby. Her sensibilities are too western.

Anyways, akhil too can become hero but in proper time.

  • anonymous says:

Dhada disappointing but heared Chaitu will do movie with new heroine Amala Paul. Good to know about the new Amala who is making waves in tamil movies. welcome to tollywood.

  • sneha says:

Saw Amala in ‘Real Heroes’ Episode on youtube. She said Chaitu is a responsible big brother to Akhil etc. thats nice to hear but i wonder why she and even Nag never take Chai’s mom’s name. After all this comfortable equation between the two brothers has been possible becoz of Chai’s mom too. Nag says Amala defined life for him etc..but no praise for the woman who left quietly so that it would be possible for him to marry his love? what if she had publicly fought like Ramlath?

Amala today is doing some good social work and her wild past is no longer remembered. (people have seen her flirting wildly with kannada actor Ravichandran during shooting). She was a young girl then and today she has transformed herself, thats acceptable and understood.

But it would ve been nice if she had a word of praise for chai’s mom too. That would make things so much more genuine. Hindi film actress Kareena Kapoor said her boyfriend Saif Ali Khan speaks well of his ex-wife and she wants it that way.
